LA / Valley Basic Repair Mechanic Rec?

I’m in the valley and am looking for a wrench for basic maintenance, ppi, etc etc. If they can do more, great, but I’m really just looking for someone close that can handle basic repairs and a ppi.

I know about AntSpec, but they’re about 90 minutes away without traffic. I’m down to use them for performance stuff, but again I’m just looking for a reputable shop nearby that can do a ppi and handle more basic daily driver repairs that I can’t do myself.

I use the mechanics that Dpro recommended to me for stuff that the dealership doesn't get. They are Western Diagnostics on Hillhurst in LA. Car comes in, they work on it and you're gone. I trust them 100%. They changed my blend door actuator in 10 mins when the dealership had my car for 5 days and did nothing. Put my new door card in in less than 30mins.

Any others ppl know about in the SGV area? I’m looking to get my water pump fixed so I got replace the timing belt + other parts that are too intricate for my level of expertise which is low when it comes to that stuff🥶

I went to Star Ford in Glendale and had it done properly. The mechanic who worked on the car, Gustavo, has been rebuilding engines for over 20yrs. My car runs as good as it did 11yrs ago, only faster.

for my fiesta I do all work at FS Werks but they are further out in Anaheim.

for my honda si, I get my work done at Mid Valley Auto repair. They do specialize in hondas especially S2000s but they will pretty much work on most cars including my fiesta. I have no doubt they can do a lot of basic stuff.

All the tuning stuff on my car was installed by Vik at FSWerks. Never had any problem with anything he's done.
