I am currently install ing a complete LED conversion. In doing so everything is fine EXCEPT the Hi Beam LED, it will not light. I can install the original Halogen and it works fine (see photos attached).
Is i applyt 12vdc direbtly to the LED, it lights fine. What am I doing wrong?

The LED should be polarized. Are you able to install it in 'both directions'?

It would appear that Ford in thier infinite wisdom set the connector so it only only fits one way with the spade being negative and the outstside clip being positive! With the Halogen bulb it does not matter.
So, until I can figure out a way to reverse this, I will have to live with the Halogen Hi-Beams.
Has anyone else ever run in to this issue?

I would say that the fault is with the manufacturer of that particular LED module. There are plenty of LED units which have the correct polarity to work with the standard wiring harness.
