Light diode replacement 2017 ford fiesta st

Per image my light diode is out I have take it apart and noticed some sort of release mechanism. I want to ensure this is how I repair this and that I don’t have to buy a whole new cabin fixture to replace.

are you talking about the map light? its just a bulb. pull it out and push the new one into that fixture, reinstall?
