I received mine yesterday & installed this morning. I had to clearance the mounting bracket to keep it away from a wire bundle & the engine. Compared to my previous 3" custom intake tube, it looks better, but Virtual Dyno results aren't better. I'll clear KAM and try again in a few days. Air Mass and Air Filter Pressure are similar to my 3" intake tube. CAT is similar to before, Intake temp is higher, but I had to remove my custom lower box to make the green filter fit.

I put my amateur VTA valve cover breather back on, vs the factory tube, and Intake Air temp is close to or less than Charge Air temp.

I really want to know when the 2016 fix will be available... Itching to get the mass of metal sitting in the box into my car.

We are working on the solution to have our intakes fit the 2016 models! We should have an update on this soonish!

Top of my wish list. As much for the rigorous r&d as for the beauty of the construction.

Question: is there any weight savings over the stock setup? Stock is all plastic and rubber, so maybe not?

I've caught the lightness bug (even though it's only a DD). Any weight savings on the front of the fist is really attractive to me.

There is a little weight savings over stock. With the removal of the stock airbox for our intake, that is where the weight savings will be had.

Thank you.

1 more question. This member video demonstrates external sounds with MAP intake and CBE. There is a lot of "whistling" at certain rpms. The "whistling" is not from the MAP intake is it?

Any updates on the 2016 model fix? I'm going to be away training for the month of January and would like something to look forward to!

I actually have just spoken with our Engineer a few hours ago. I completely understand the pain of waiting, as you can imagine it's a bit tense on my end trying to relay information. I apologize for the delays, as we did get a 2016 here for fitment, and unfortunately our intake development has been behind closed doors until it's ready for productions. I do know that it is being worked on and losing about 2 weeks due to holidays, and backlogs of other production, we've been kept from progress. The intake is the first thing on my list of updates for every thread, build, results, and other outlets. I promise you'll know ASAP. Thank you for your business and support and I promise the 2016 intake is not forgotten!

That's my video - the whistling is the intake.

The whistling might be heard through the intake but that's the bypass valve bleeding air.

The design is done, we are just having trouble sourcing some of the new parts to make it available for order. Top of the list I promise that. It shouldn't be much longer at all. I appreciate all the patience!

Intake getting installed on test vehicle today and we will have our road testing done in roughly a week and it will go into stocking production immediately after approval from road testing! Thank you for your patience and I look forward to offering such a quality product with refined results, and I do apologize for the delays. Please PM me if you would like to get the jump start on the list for ordering one! I already have a few names down but I know there are many patiently waiting!

Regards
Adam

Almost two weeks later... What's the verdict? :)
We ran into some programming issues with the 2016 model which gave us CEL's. Made a few tweaks and so far so good. Should be starting production later this week! Thanks for the patience and I am happy the testing was proven useful and successful! Intake sounds good too ;)

Regards
Adam

Nice, do you know yet if it is some sort of adapter, or an entirely new stainless pipe? Will you be notifying/contacting those of us owners with your old design first to send out the replacement part? Very anxious (after 4 months) to install this intake! Congrats on being one of the first 2016 intakes on the market.
