So I just got this in and my garage is doing the install and there a bit useless so I have to stay on top of them. Does anyone know if I need to order any additional clamps or couplings to install this pipe with the rest of the stock piping? It came with a silicone coupling on the side that connects to the turbo but nothing else, does the other side that goes onto the stock piping just clamp together without a coupling? Can I just reuse the stock clamps ? Thanks a lot

Pretty sure you reuse one coupler, and then use the provided one. Beside that if you are having a shop do the install the and provided it needs another hose clamp that is something the shop should have lying around.

Does the stock hot side pipe that goes into the piping even have a coupling on that side or is it just a clamp? If that's the case the other side of the mbrp pipe (the larger diameter opening) just clamps on ?

I stole the clamps off the stock pipe rather than use the ones MBRP provides after stripping one of theirs out while tightening it.

Did you see any difference after installing it?

Honestly? Not really. The stock pipe isn't as bad as everyone makes out, so the small improvement in diameter would be hard to quantify. I figure it is just good groundwork for any later turbo upgrades.

Def not going to be any diff with stock turbo. I'm upgrading to a Garrett gt2860rs in a week. Only pipe I have to upgrade is the hot side because of the need to mount the Tial Q bov.
