Dearborn here...'16 Platinum Tri-coat w/Recaros and black (or anthracite - just painted my extra set of FiST wheels) wheels.
Came from a '13 FoST. Love the Fiesta 10x more.
I live and work in Dearborn. Wonder who I work for...hahaha.
My wife and I both autocross our Fiestas with Detroit Region SCCA, NWOR SCCA, SVR SCCA or the MSCC clubs.

Hi Guys,

I have just joined the Forum but have owned had my Ingot Silver FIST for just over a year now. Work for Ford in PDC Dearborn and run the daily Southfield gauntlet, I have 4 work mates who also have FIST's and 2 or three that have FOST's.

loving the car and had the Mountune MP215 kit installed after 3 months. The work was carried out by Suburban Ford in Sterling heights who I can recommend as a good dealership.

So quick question, can anyone recommend a good shop/installer to install a set of Mountune springs? I bought them directly from Mountune on sale, Unfortunately Suburban changed their policy and they will now only install parts if bought directly from them, just need a good shop to do the work and set the tracking.

Any recommendations?

Thanks...

Welcome, zinc1 !
I can't recommend a specific dealership that would be agreeable to installing aftermarket parts, but you might want to try Village Ford in Dearborn (Mich Ave & Outer Drive). They have been around forever and get a lot of business from Ford employees. Linky ---------> http://www.villageford.net/

Would you (and hopefully your work mates, including FoST) be interested in a get-together? We could meet at the parking lot of World Headquarters (assuming that's allowed) to introduce each other and make plans for an all day event. Maybe to Hell, Mi (been there several times for meets, it's a cool place ------ pun intended).

Hey Guys

Another one from the greater Detroit area. I live in Farmington Hills currently. I also work at Ford, though I'm out in the boondocks at PEDM. It gets lonely.

If we're doing any meetups this summer I'd definitely be interested. Wonder how much it would be to get us some reserved time at the M1 concourse [idea]

I have been to MRT twice so far with my FiST. They're incredibly professional and I'm sure they'd be happy to help you if you shoot them an email. My second recommendation although I don't have personal experience with them yet, would be Deadhook Motorsports. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the Replies everyone!

Yes I am sure I can get the other guys to meet up - its just a matter of when and where, and if works with everyone's calendar. Not sure if you Guys ever go to the Cars and coffee over on woodward in the summer but thats always a good place to meet. the First production Ford GT showed up on Saturday morning during the warm weather spell - looked amazing!

Aborbs87 - thanks for the suggestions, I have tried calling Deadhook before - just keep getting an answer phone, but will definitely try MRT

I haven't gone to that one. Only to the C&D one at the M1. Where exactly is this one held?

I have a friend that is an instructor at M1 Concourse, might try and ask him about some kind of meet there possibly. If not even a meet up during the week would be rad. I have seen groups get together at the 12 Mile and Mound Bdubs in heavy numbers.

Hey y'all, I'm very likely moving back to Michigan from LA next month, and I'm wondering where you guys drive for fun? I moved here from Hamtramck two years ago before I bought my FiST, and for the life of me I can't think of any roads outside of the Keewenaw Peninsula that have any semblance of a curve or elevation change to them.
