The mod bug has finally hit me again so figured I should start a build thread as well. [lovest]





Added some LED fog light bulbs.

Finished the subwoofer project.





Cobb Tune.


Installed the Home-link.

Got an early Christmas present from the wife. 35% tint on the side windows and 25% tint on the rear.

MK, can you tell me more about the protective film you chose? is this is a DIY? and did you just cover the fenders?

You bet. Basically it's a clear film that goes over certain parts of your car like the bumper and hood which can be prone to rock chips. The film is made by a company called Xpel. The reason why I chose this brand is because they have a film that is self healing (see video below.)

This is something that a professional installer will need to do, if you try it yourself and mess up, you'll be out quite a bit of money.


There is another product out the made by 3M call Paint Defender which you can probably try yourself because it's a spray which would be easier to apply.

Thanks a lot for the info. The paint defender seems to be what I want. Not sold in Canada though which is weird.
