Exactomundo...certain members in here have touched on this issue before...it almost seems like a scare tactic..."if you install anything other than MTune you will void your warranty"...well that is not true which is pointed out in the aforementioned article..Thanks airjor
Well, go ahead and try to take on Ford if your non approved mods end up blowing your engine. I imagine if you had a million dollars, a good lawyer and 10 years to fight it in court, you might win. Or you could have Ford install mods that have Fords official blessing and not have a potential warranty fight you may or may not win,
I get that the Mountune route is costly as far as bang for the buck, but if your motor grenades, nice to know you are covered.

And this is the main selling point of Mountune over the competitors. Yes, their parts are expensive. Yes, they sometimes go on sale. Yes, you have to have them dealership-installed to maintain warranty. But if that day comes that your motor grenades at somewhere other than a racetrack, you're not going to have to fight the dealership about being tuned or having their parts as you have basically paid extra money to ensure that argument/fight doesn't occur.

Keep in mind that this only applies to their MP parts and not possible future MR parts.

No one in the uk has a bad thing to say about mountune 215. Literally every review has said it's a no brainer. Plus it's on insurance company's databases as an official model so doesn't need modified insurance specialists...

ZREXER --

I recently had the MP215 kit installed by my Ford dealer. I created a similar threar on another Fiesta ST forum and here is my cut and paste of my update after the installation:

"MP215 Kit was installed today by my local dealer. So far so good and the additional power/torque is definitely noticeable across the rev range but especially it seems in the mid-range starting around 4000 rpm. I can also detect a bit more aggressive intake/induction noise and the exhaust seems to have a bit more of an aggressive bark. Overall, a nice upgrade at a great price that does not overwhelm or radically change the overall balanced nature of the car. Thanks Mountune and Landmark Ford!"

I have been extremely pleased with the MP215 kit and the installation by my Ford Dealer (for which I was charged $175). This is the only upgrade I would have contemplated for the ST because of the fact that it woud not void the Ford factory warranty.
