Muffler delete pictures

Anyone have a picture of their muffler delete? Looking to do one temporarily, wanting to see how the mounting and stuff is done.

(I know I know, buy a real exhaust. I want a louder car and have a wedding to pay for....)

I won't give you grief for wanting to do the muffler delete. It seems that CBE are just noisemakers anyway and a delete should give more sound while also dropping 10-15lbs off the car.

Might not be the sound you're looking for, but at least there is more of it.

I was actually headed to the exhaust shop to do this when I realized that the dual tips are attached to the muffler. I don't want a blank single tip so I decided to wait and order just the tips when I get back to doing it.

Well. This plan failed miserably anyways. Ended up melting some of my bumper and ordered an MBRP exhaust as I originally wanted. Do it right or do it twice. Now I get to listen to a nagging fiancee for awhile...

Oh man. How did you melt your bumper?

The straight pipe used was routed too close to the opening in the bumper for the exhaust. Hot exhaust on the plastic bumper = melted.

What got me is the stock muffler is square, and the pipe goes in the top, and out the bottom. So there a slight drop between inlet and outlet. Will install MBRP next weekend, hopefully it will be here by then.

Time to figure out how to make it to work without making the bumper worse...

Muffler + resonator delete 100$ including the cost of SS tips that the muffler shop already had on hand.
