If that evap setup works without a CEL, then this thing may be the best deal on the market. Retain the factory airbox to keep IATs down, get the gains from a crossover pipe, and all those great whooshy noises all for $325.

Paired with a ST200 box is probably the best intake you can buy, but ~$600 for the modest gains is definitely overkill IMO.

I'm leaning more towards an ITG right now - with so many shops using it on their shop cars there *has* to be a reason, right? Like Ron@whoosh, I believe his shop car has an ITG despite having access to an entire selection of intakes.

I *would* like to see an a/b dyno of the ST200 box vs. stock. I doubt anyone will spend the time/money to do it, but it would be interesting.

A separate crossover and induction hose with "fix" for '16+ also works well, the Mountune induction hose for '16+ with good "fix" included is $127 with 20% off right now and combine that with a crossover then you have the 2 main components that get you gains for a total of $250... other than the drop in that hopefully one would already have to start with... But this at $325 including the filter and new cover looks pretty good, do we know if it uses the factory snorkel at least?

I'd be way more interested if CARB compliant - with the Cobb gone, I think that makes absolutely zero CARB compliant intakes for 16+ :(

I thought mountune kit was? Or is it only when bundled with the MP215 kit that the entire thing is CARB compliant?

Nope they didn't pay for CARB for 16+ IIRC.
I have to check my print out sheet in my glove box but I am pret5y sure they do have an EO number for it. They no longer offer stickers that have the E.O. stuff on them but they were happy to print out a sheet for me at the last Mountune meet.
The main item that was no longer EO”d after 16 was the MP215 kit. My guess is they were not selling enough of them to recoup E.O. costs ( yes CARB charges for it) . whereas the smaller stuff they sell tons of because its not a big cash outlay for a little of people.

Isn't the new law the manufacturer has to renew the CARB EO # every year?

Also bummed the new Cobb is not CARB. if the mishimoto is out then I don't know what's compliant.

Thats not new its always been that way. All I know is I have a list of all parts with current numbers and my intercooler is one of them among others. I am too lazy to go out to my car right now and look at it but I will later.

The old one said carb in the documentation, the new one doesn’t is all. Maybe they gave up on it.

Most likely as Ford is not selling the car anymore. Its like 10k so you have to have good sales to warrant it.
