I had the Opti-Guard done by a friend who details, its not hard to do and the results are FANTASTIC! Its a polymer resin so its like a permanent wax. Washing the car is so simple and it always comes out looking perfect. I do wish I did a 3M clear bra though but hey its a DD I don't care too much. :p

My friend has actually just quit the detailing business so I don't think he will be doing anymore Opti-Gaurd applications. There are two forms that it comes in Opti-Coat 2.0 and Opti-Guard 2.0. Its basically permanent wax in the form of a polymer resin that binds to the clear coat of the car. Its usually done right after its purchased as a special car wash is needed to prime the car for application. There are other dealers in the area that do it. My buddy charged me $400 for the wash and application which is pretty cheap. I will ask him and see if he wants some more business but I cannot promise anything. Thanks again guys for all the love, cheers!

Unfortunately his website is now down and I cannot get in touch with him. You can buy Opti-Coat 2.0 yourself but you need to understand how to prep the car before putting it on, its not too hard if you're savvy....

I know it's far, but Show Car Detailing in Anaheim run by Richard Lin (ShowCarDetailing on Facebook) is highly recommended and does the Opticoat thing.
