I just got another ST. Had a 19 that all i did myself was an intercooler and 2JR intake. Got this one from a dealer that didn't know much about it. Found it to have just about Cobb everything. Including their catted downpipe, intercooler, closed box cold air intake, rmm, cat back exhaust, and accesport of course. I'm thinking since it's this far I'd like to get a S280. Is it fairly easy to install?

It can be if you have the right tools and time. And patience. And like punishment.

You can pull out the old one through the top and put the new one in through the top.you still want it on ramps or a lift because you'll be alternating between going over the engine bay and under to unbolt things n stuff.

You have to remove the cowl, which is easy. Headlights out, then wipers, then the cowl has like 5 clips at the front and 4 bolts/screws after you remove the top half of the cowl.

Then it gets trickier cus you have to remove the heat shields which are annoying with awkward to reach spaces but you have the Cobb DP so you prolly already have those removed. Also, the bolts holding the downpipe to the turbo can be a bit annoying, people report that they are basically welded on sometimes. Other people report that they come loose and fall off randomly, lol. I have been lucky with those bolts, no issues for me. I will add that one of them is off to the top/side and is kind of annoying to reach.

OH! One of the oil feed lines is also kind of in a fucked up spot that is sorta hard to reach behind the engine.

Easiest thing I found was to remove the exhaust manifold with the turbo attached to it. Just finagled it out the top after lots of cuts, scratches, some cigarettes, a beer and some cursing. Some of the nuts to the manifold came out easy and a few were so stuck in place that the bolt and nut came together.

There are a few videos on yt that show you different methods.

It took me like six hours total. But I'm also not a car expert. I don't have a lift and I did it in my back yard in the dirt with a friend in the Arizona summer which was stupid of me. Also was getting bit by Amy's the whole time which I know is irrelevant but thought you should know.

Anyway, I can pm you my IG if you wanna talk to someone that isn't a car expert but managed to do it.
