Suburban Kansas Midlife Crisis: 2015 Fiesta ST

I just picked up a 2015 Fiesta ST in the lovely suburbs of Johnson County, Kansas. Here are my reasons:

• I'm almost 45 years old and its about damn time I had some fun.
• FINALLY a 4-door performance car I can afford.
• Cornering is unbelievable. Better than my 1988 MR2, I think(?). It's been awhile.
• I'm FINALLY old enough not to give a sh$t about small car comments.
• Did I mention the price was right? Cheaper than a Harley.

Some notes about the car:

• Used. The previous owner drove 22,000 miles in 11 months.
• I got a 25% discount off MSRP due to said mileage above.
• I intend to purchase roof bars for a bike rack. Any suggestions welcome.
• I intend to purchase an extended warranty from Ford. Any comments welcome.
• I intend to purchase a wheel/snow tire combo for winter. Any suggestions welcome.

It is loud, cramped, bumpy, and cheap. But, fun as hell to drive. So I'm happy.

You can find wheels from the 1st two generations of the Focus that have the same lug pattern that will make for a good winter wheel. I got my 15" steelies for free through Craigslist. Got some clearance Pirellis from tire rack at $60 per and plasti dipped those wheels purple!
