Not a upgrade but a question about recaro seats?

Just drove this beauty and it had the grey recaro seats ( I want the orange ) but I have a question I'm 5 10 210 and my back was a little tight? Do these seats break in at all? Yea I could stand to loose 10-20 lbs but I really like these seats the bottom holds me great just up near my upper back it gets a little tight? Nothing I was thinking about while driving the car but I noticed when I first sat in the car?

Thanks in advance Mike

Yup they do break in, after a thousand miles or two. My lats barely fit between the bolsters and until the seats broke in trips over 100 miles got a little tiring. Drove up to Detroit (shout out to DeadHook Motorsports) over the summer and it was comfortable.

They are tight. Oddly enough, more upright adjustment seems to make them more comfortable.

So the back being straight up makes the seat not as tight? How many miles do you have and have they gotten more comfortable?

Yes. More upright doesn't seem as tight. 1600 km/1000 miles they are still firm but at -20 they are not the softest. The seat heaters are worth the money...

Even though tight, a four hour highway drive on the way home from the dealer did not bother my back at all.

I drove mine for 4 days straight to and from the Dragon's tail from Florida. They did REALLY well. I was 200-215lbs and 6'2" at the time. I'm actually still that weight; just a softer version, lol

6' 2" @ 215 and hit the gym regularly. i hated the seats on my first test drive but i was in office attire. wife convinced me to try again in street clothes and i had to have them lol. I'm 1,300 miles in and the seats have broken in nicely. even in wrk clothes. really glad i bought them. and yes, upright is much more comfy. the seat just cradles you.

Love the seats, they loosen up nicely as said but I'm afraid of breaking the bolsters and wearing them out. Plus with all the hard plastic I don't trust anyone to sit in my car... Very easy to scuff everything up when you are stuck in the seat! 6'3 and 220 here.

I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars modding cars, I build them to drive, not look at, wear and tear is part of the deal, as long as I can eat off the engine I am OK if the rest of the car looks like it has been used a bit and sometimes used pretty hard while I it is kicking some shiny protected cars arse especially:)
