I recently installed a few upgrades onto my Fiesta ST, such as an intake, an intercooler and a charge pipeAfterwards, my car gave me a p2282 code along with a p0507 code, so I inspected all the couplers and joints and saw that a few were leaking so I fixed it and cleared the code with no problem.
Then, a few drives later, the code (p2282) suddenly pops up again, this time without p0507 even though I did have strange idle rpms. I’ve been looking all over my engine bay for any sort of air leak, from the pcv to the purge lines to the charge pipes and intercooler, and I still can’t find any leaks.
I’m monitoring a few thing with my accessport and noticed that sometimes during idle (especially when rpms are odd), that my STFT is in high positives (10-15%) and my boost pressure is ~ -7psi. I also noticed that when cruising my STFT is in low negatives (-8% to -12%).
I have no idea where the leak is coming from, and it doesn’t seem like it affect my performance much at all, but there are a few little things that are off (like the gauges I mentioned earlier).
This is all I can remember off of the top of my head, if anyone could help, it would be much appreciated, I will answer any questions as good as I can.
