The car only has about 24,000 miles on it, and this is the second time that this has happened since I've owned the car. Ive found easily visible, different size metal shavings in the oil drain pan. Anybody know what it could be?

Could get the oil tested. Are the metal shavings attacked to a magnet?

Could have been in the puck up screen from the last time you looked. If you're really concerned about tit, remove the pan and clean the pan and pick up good.

If the car is still under warranty I would take it in and have them look at it. Is it making noise or smoking at all?

Wrenching for Ford is what I do
