So im hearing this loud click sound when making left hand turns. It doesnt sound like a stone caught in the tire. There is no vibration with the sound to indicate its a loose lug nut or wheel bearings. It is rythmic.
Most likely cause could be a CV joint or wheel bearing but for a CV joint it should happen when turning either left or right. That directionality points to a wheel bearing. So that is where I would look first.
I have a suspension refresh planned here very soon. And with how crap and cratered the roads are i wonder if my love of 17" wheels and sticky tires killed more than just my dampers.
sounds like CV joint/axle to me. Bearings are usually a loud groaning noise that occur or go-away when turning and get louder or quieter the harder the turn is.
Well i guess to be safe i should replace both sides. It only just stared clicking. Im not gonna beat on it. But until i can order the axles they have to hold up.
