Problem selecting gears fiesta st line

My fiesta st line 19 plate is really struggling with 1st and reverse gear it seems to be when the car has been running a while! Surely it cant be a knackered gear box or clutch the car has only done 21k advice please

The shifting linkage may be a bit off. I'd check that first.

You have a Warranty, USE IT. Most likely it's a shifter adjustment but if you start fooling it you may void your warranty. In addition if it's something like a bent shift fork you will absolutely want to warranty that problem.

I think the ST Line is automatic.
ST Line IIRC has the drive train and suspension of the regular Fiesta.

You could get manual ST Lines, just as you could get manual regular Fiestas if you could find a dealer that ordered any

You are correct. The ST-Line had the body trim of the ST, with the underpinnings of a regular Fiesta. They got 16" wheels, unique colors, the ST exhaust, and were available with a 5-speed manual or the dual clutch time bomb automatic.
If you got the manual, it's a good little car that will last for decades with regular maintenance.
