Locate connector C133

C133-Location.jpg

Here is the connector view

C133_1.jpg

Locate pin #5 on the chassis side of the connector.
The wire color is Green with Orange stripe.

Here is the wiring diagram view

Ing-Wiring.jpg

You will cut the Green with Orange stripe wire (Pin #5) on the chassis side of the connector.
Make sure you are far enough away from the connector and have enough wire to work with.
Use heat shrink tubing for insolation, connect as per the AutoMeter diagram provided.

You MUST solder these connections.

Wait! We have a shift light. It's very useful - it tells me to shift often. Maybe 3 shifts by the time I hit 25mph. Why tamper with perfection?
I bet I’d get better mpg than anyone on the racetrack. Winner.

Thanks for the help @D1JL

Of course this piece of shit from eBay has LEDs that don’t light up. He’s refunding me or sending another.. Nothing like wasting my time but at least the “hard” part is done. I can hookup any functional light to the adapter and it’ll be good to go.
