Simi Valley FiST, and a story

Proud owner of a Molten Orange Fiesta ST with matte-black go-fast stripes.

A lot of people asked me why I would trade my prior car (Infinit EX35 Journey, "fully-loaded") for "a Ford." What people don't understand, and what maybe some of you can vouch for, is that this car is the culmination of the high-school dream. I remember being in high school and carrying around a copy of Import Tuner because, inside, there was, and I will never forget this car, a 1999 Honda Civic hatchback with a bunch of engine stuff and a WingsWest "Avenger type II" body kit. I will never forget that car, and that was the day I became a dedicated fan of the hot-hatch.

I've been waiting for the Fiesta ST ever since they first announced the Focus ST because, back then, I think we all knew it was just a matter of time because all that bad-assery was bestowed on Focus' little brother.

It's definitely a step down in size. Turning radius, though, is the same. Actually, it's like almost a foot bigger on the fiesta XD. Love the damn car, though.

Im glad you came to Ford. But I was never an import fan in high school only American muscle. I only got a Fist for a fun daily driver. But for my REAL fun I take out the GT500

I downsized to the ST too, but from another Ford, not an Infiniti.
How's Simi nowadays? My brother met his wife in the Elephant Bar and lived in Simi, Wood Ranch, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village before heading west. I used to spend a lot of time there.
