ST started making dump valve noise!!!

Good afternoon all!!

I have owned my 2017 fiesta St-3 about a year now and love it!

I hoping you guys can help as the garage I've just been to didn't know!

5 days ago the car started making a dump valve psssst noise everytime I released the throttle. EVERY TIME!! (Light touch or heavy touch)
it's completely stock and only ever made this noise if I was really giving it some.

The noise happens even after the lightest touch of the accelerator.

Is this a faulty BOV? No loss of power, no error codes. I appreciate this noise is great at certain gear changes but not all the time!!

Any ideas???.

Could be. I am in the process of replacing mine as it has almost completely failed. I did notice up to the point of failure that it would make much louder noises and chirp sounds when lifting off the throttle.
