This adapter was included with the Thermal R&D 3” Cat-back exhaust. I used it for less than 1k miles before purchasing a 3” downpipe, at that time I switched to the 3” adapter.
The install is a bolted flange to the stock or stock flange size downpipe, with a 3” band clamp to the 3” Cat-back. This is a good part for someone doing some exhaust mods like a resonator delete or any application going to a 3” Cat-back with stock sized downpipe flange.
