Why shave the grille? It does minimal.

Installed these new Sparco Carbon fiber pedal covers. Stock ones were getting pretty worn and it was time for a change. Only thing that sucked was it is a cramped place to work when dealing with all the tools.
overall I’m pretty satisfied and think they look great. The heal toe option is really nice with the 3D printed gas pedal spacer as well.

I like the dead pedal. Covers looks nice. How are they in terms of grip? The stock ones on mine are a little worn and can feel a little slippery at times.

Those pedal covers look really nice. It does look like a difficult install. I wonder if there are any that look like that but just fit over the existing pedals without having to use tools?

 

[Stubborn Approach]

Installed 6” 6k Swift springs w/ helpers in the rear on a locals car with ST suspension. He was looking for more rear rotation and quicker response to inputs. The car was slammed so I raised it another .5-1” & set the alignment to -2.5 camber, +4 caster, 0 toe. Also installed an AWR RMM I had collecting dust on the car.

Finally installed whoosh symposer delete cap at 126k. Had zero boost problems before that I was aware of but now response even seems better. Also didn’t realize the engine note was droney (stock exhaust)—no more!

Back on the road last couple of days trying to burn off old fuel.

Look'n for EBC BSD280 rotors to fit the rear. (none on Amazon anymore)
I have EBC BSD1963 for the front, but haven't yet installed.

It was hit-and-run parked, couple of years ago, ironically by the driver delivering the BSD280 rotors. (never delivered the rotors)

Wanted to start a thread where everyone can share what they did to their Fiesta ST on a daily basis. You can share whatever information you want as long as it's relevant to the Fiesta ST.

Money shifted it 4th to third! Merging on to the highway. Thank God I don’t typically beat it, I think I hit about 4,500rpm. Just enough to get the nice burnt rubber clutch stink to fill my cabin. What a sweet aroma as you cringe and panic! 😵🔥

Not noteworthy but my spoiler had a little rattle when closing the hatch so I tightened that up, which was more satisfying than I thought it would be as I had just gotten used to it. All of the bolts were extremely tight except one, and only by a very small amount. That's all it took apparently and now I've got a solid-sounding close.

I also just submitted a paypal claim for an AP I bought here from a seller than has since got MIA and has been unresponsive to all forms of contact for 2 weeks. As someone new here (and excited to be) that's a bummer of a welcome.

I was going to ask where you get ethanol in AZ, it's damn near mythical... I have also put all my car plans on hold due to heat🥵🥵

Seems like digital crime has really mainstreamed since cryptocurrency provided an easier means of laundering funds. Criminals and scam artists everywhere are certainly pushing hard for government adoption. Put enough money on the right corrupt individuals, unfortunately it can happen.

saponetta sold their car so they weren't coming here often, but they stopped logged in once I sent payment back on the 9th. I sent PP goods & services so that I would be able to file a claim (which I did) but PP says it could take a month. I reached out via DMs, then email, then via PP, then a PP fraud claim. Still nothing.

Companies love to play that "wait 30 days" BS. They know if you wait 30 days, you won't be able to contest the charge on the credit card. Homey don't play that. Contest the charge on your credit card now. Company that double-billed me tried that non-sense. "Wait 30 days and your refund will post." Told the rep straight-up, that sounds like the run-around.game.
