I'm going to make a plate that covers this hole, and mount my ethanol percentage gauge in the hole. I want to make it so it can be removed easily and reinstalled without looking like something is missing. I'll post pics in my build thread once I'm done.

^^From looking at it, I'm assuming it can be popped out.

I think a Scangauge would fit in there if a hole was drilled to route the cable.

I would think it would be a bad place for a multigauge.
By the time you took your eyes off the road and acquired the data, you would hit a tree.

I used it to mount a boost gauge, looked neat but it was not very functional because you needed to take your eyes off the road to long to read it.

To be honest, I had no idea until today that this compartment even existed. Then again I've only had my car for about 6 days. Good spot for my iphone or some mints/gum.
