strange Mpg or Liter accuracy?!

Hello Folks!

Just picked up my first St few days ago, MPG is arround 32.5mpg (town and short highway) im quite happy with that, but today just for fun a change the mog to liter and its is said 8.8liter/100km 😮 wich is arround 27mpg ! so wich one is accurate ?

Maybe it has to do with us gallon vs uk gallon different volume?

Welcome to the forum!!! I wish I knew more about what ford uses with conversions. The most accurate way is to fill up to one click, then drive. Fill up again and do the math.

Alkoran has it!!!!! Nice job. Just went into google conversions and it is almost exact. Imperial is 32 and US is 26.7 for 8.8liters/100km

Had to use regular during the pandemic, or a mix, but I noticed different MPG figures. Assumption is the computer knows I'm gonna push the pedal harder!! No, the engine is just not running as efficiently as it should.
