Stratified Flash Tune with x47?

I want to get stratified tuned, but only plan on using it for regular driving or winter for low boost. The only issue is I don't really have the money to dish out $275 for a custom tune. Should I be okay getting a flash tune with my x47 hybrid?

No. Absolutely not. You must have a custom tune for a upgraded Turbo.
Flash tunes are for the OEM turbo only.

I have the X47R and stratified IMO is a good reputable company to tune your car with. You’ll easily be able to have a low boost tune for winter and a high boost tune to rip the streets up.

But you have a custom tune, correct?
You know, in economy mode of the AP/slot the car will only make as much boost as your spring pressure allows and the A/F stays pretty constant cause of it and low timing. You could just use it like that for a bit while you save up for the actual custom tune but not forever. (example: you have an 11psi WGA, then you should se a peak of 11 and no more PSI)

Do you already have the X47 installed? What is running with now for a tune?

Yes, and I'm tuned by Adam at Tuned+ right now,
If you're up and functional right now, you should just wait and save up for a proper tune.
I don't have any personal experience with Tune+, but forum reading yields that the community has a lot of trust there.
