Symposer Failure?

A few days ago, my FiST started sounding...odd. As if there's a leak in the exhaust system - or as if the Symposer hose is disconnected. Presuming it's the latter,
am I likely to lose some boost pressure? Or is the thing only transmitting sound?

If it's disconnected or leaking you can lose pressure. The sound symposer is connected off of the cold side charge pipe so if it's disconnected you'll basically have an open hole in that charge pipe where the pressurised air can escape.
