Great progress so far, I'm loving the clean look. Have you decided on any wheels yet?
Appreciate it! Ive been searching around and Im a fan of both the TD 1.2s and Sparcos in White, but both seem to be really popular. Im hoping that as time goes on we will get some more options. I think if enough people showed interest we could get a custom run of Enkeis (or other) put into action.

Thank you so much! Its been incredibly fun building that car partially because theres so much after market support for Subarus. You should check it again tonight, I'm about to go snap some photos of the new wheels [hihi]

I would definitely be down for some custom Enkei RPF1 or even the PF01.

Agreed! We should get a thread going about it. Tom from Spun-Autosports does custom Enkei runs all the time. I believe its 10-15 sets to get the ball rolling.

Nice cars! Had an 06 wrx and miss it but the Fiesta is great. Love the white too. I can tell this is gonna be a nice build, very clean!

Thank you! The overlays were actually very simple to install. I opted to just use a dry method, just because its such a small surface area. A headlight you would definitely want to use some lubrication. I personally think they look amazing. If there was bubbles and creases, then yes I think it would look tacky. Its actually relatively easy to install them and get everything to sit nice and flat. I ended up taking off the fog light surround to get better access to the light which made life MUCH easier. Heres another photo with the fog light surround removed.

Date: August 14, 2014

Mileage: 718

Mods:
- Escort 8500 X50 w/ Custom Plexiglass Mount

I've had this 8500 X50 sitting around from my previous daily driver (V1 in the Subie) and I've been looking for a CLEAN way to mount it in the Fiesta. I considered going the Blend Mount route with Invisicord, but that would also require an auto-dimming/homelink mirror and I personally hate auto dimming mirrors. Its been a recurring issue in newer cars with suction cups not sticking to the black dots at the top of the windshield and I was determined to find a solution. I actually stole this idea from a guy on a random Toyota forum, but so far it seems quite solid. Basically, I picked up a 12" x 12" sheet of black plexi from Amazon and cut it down, then used some super high quality 3M double sided tape to affix it to the windshield. Time will tell if it holds up, but this tape is used to hold on moldings and other various parts, so I have faith. Did the standard hardwire using an Add-A-Fuse and ran the wire down the passenger A pillar to the fuse block. Opted to not wire in the mute switch and just use a straight power wire from Amazon to add to the cleanliness. I originally was going to mount it on the driver's side of the mirror, but found there was quite enough clearance between the mirror and the detector for it to fit the way I wanted.

Ive also found that heating the tape slightly before slapping it on can help create a really strong bong. Cleaning really well beforehand also helps obviously.

Wanted to update this thread and document what I've been up to over the last month:

8/24/14 - VLED - 194 - Flank LED for Licence Plate Bulbs - 932 Miles

These LEDs are amazing. May even be too bright for a license plate LED. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to LEDs. I tried 3 other LEDs from various vendors and most of them were DIMMER and less appealing then the factory halogens.

09/06/14 - Nokya Hyper Yellow 2500k H11 Fog Light Bulbs - 1240 Miles

Have these in the high beams on the Subie. Love the yellow fog look and these ended up working great with the overlays.

Nokya -5031 by T_Forde, on Flickr

09/23/14 - Cobb AccessPORT V3 - Stage 1 91 V104 - 1560 Miles

Considering the car has zero power mods, the Cobb Stage 1 map is an insane difference. Completely transforms this little beast. Really blew me away.

09/27/14 - 1st Oil Change - Motorcraft FL-910S and Motorcraft 5w20 Synth Blend - 1747 Miles

Mostly did this for piece of mind and to get the break in oil out of there. Will probably go on a 6 month/4,000 mile interval from here on out. May switch to full synthetic after 3-4 changes.

Really stoked for the next staged of this build, wheels and suspension on order [wiggle] and anxiously awaiting the Cobb intake!

What are your next mods going to be, other than the ones you have mentioned? Any downpipe or exhaust or intercooler upgrades??

I will probably do wheels, suspension, intake and cat back then take a little break. If I decide to continue modifying the car at that point ill do intercooler, downpipe and a protune.

That's exactly what I'm thinking about doing. Since I am getting tuned by Mountune I don't really need to follow the stage course like Cobb says to. But intake is definitely next. I'd put some springs on it but I'm just so worried about these city roads I drive on; I don't trust them at all.

I've been waiting to see your updates. The car looks great. I have the same car, white no options. I ordered the fog light covers, how did you get the fog light surrounds off to put them on? I also have the perrin shorty, I can't get the perrin letters lined up how I want them but it looks cool.
I have the mountune short shift and mp215 kits. Still waiting on the tune to be adapted to the 15 ST, very frustrating! I also just ordered a triple r splitter.
Thanks for posting the updates.....
