Those 205/40-17s DO appear a lot wider than their 7.6" stated tread width suggests.

No it's a p255/40r17 on corvette wagon wheels I do believe could be a 45 also. But don't quote me...id have to trot out into the garage and look.

OK, I was taking for granted you still had the factory 'turbines' on it, like in your icon pic.

ALL of the various Vette wheel styles/sizes were a popular upgrade in the 4th gen f body world as well.
