Anyone have any experience with this? It's cheaper then Boomba and looks like a quality piece. Thinking of ordering it, but want to check this forum first.

I'm sure it's no different, I mean honestly it's just a piece of CNCed aluminum. So provided the toletences are ok there isn't much to me up. That being said, it's loud as hell and I love scaring people lol, actually sounds like a city bus BOV not even kidding.

That item is listed for a mini cooper, is it the right link?
Yep. I got the link to it from a post on this forum. Installed just fine, no issues and perfect fit.
A7xogg - The holes only come into play when the BOV releases pressure. It has a piston inside that moves to release air and with the adapter, some of the air gets vented to the atmosphere instead of all going back into the charge piping.

I ordered and installed this exact peice. However i notice a flutter with it... Is it just me? Should i check if it's loosened up at all?

I would if you hear flutter. Mine just goes PSSSSHHHH. ;)

I think I remember reading posts on here about the stock BOV being a bit weak sometimes, too, and an actual replacement BOV is what is needed (one with stronger springs).

I have a 2016 with under 4000 miles, so not sure how yours compares or if mine will get weaker over time.

2016 with Roughly 5,500 on it. Guess i'll have to get under the car and check it out sooner than later.

Got the BOV adapter installed today and noticed a slight whistle under light acceleration is that normal? Goes away under woot acceleration so I assume it's on tight enough no leaks. No visual issues during installation either went relatively smoothly.

Lol they literally stole our description :p

We stand behind our product and our screws are zinc plated. I can't imagine how bad it would be if those screws were to get all rusty and seized. Yikes!

We also offer anodized options ;)

If anyone ever has any questions about the Boomba piece, you know where to find us!
