Currently in the middle of installing another S280 (2nd Fiesta) and I bought the new Turbosmart DV made specifically for the S280. The big difference is that this one is vacuum operated. I can’t find any information comparing the OEM electronic setup to a vac setup. Does anyone have experience with both to compare the two?

Personally, I believe an electronic one would be better. Reaction time and control would be increased compared to a vacuum operated due to it being activated/deactivated via the engine ecu.

You talking about a diverter valve or blow off valve? I don't think the stock type diverter valve comes in a vacuum type. If it were a blow off valve, you are referring to, I'd get a vacuum one. Been around for a long time, proven design and easy to rebuild.
