Just wondering if anyone has had access to a focus rs in I believe nitrous blue to see if there is an exact or damn close match to it in a quality vinyl to wrap a car with?

I've been interested in wrapping my car for awhile. I've wrapped two motorcycles and with the crazy curves on them I'm pretty certain the car wouldn't be too bad to do myself.

I dig the rs blue and I think keeping the Fiesta in a Ford color while also making it stand out some would be a fun color to go with. I used to work next to a high end wrap shop and I've seen how good they can look. I have no desire to plastidip my car btw. It's fine for wheels etc, but does not have a quality finish look on a car imho.

Looks awesome. I love my Oxford White but that blue is bomb.

In those pics it looks more maybe metallic is the right word than a candy type blue that I think the RS nitrous blue looks like. I haven't seen an RS in person though, but I think there is probably a better match out there.

Nitrous Blue has a gold flake in it.

THAT should have been a factory color (although I can understand Ford wanting to keep it, or anything even close to the actual RS blue exclusive to the RS).

I would have paid $1000.00 extra for that (or the actual RS blue) color!! [twothumb]

Dude, I might have too. Whether it matched the RS or not, that wrap is gorgeous. Even the black tear is a nice touch, and I usually find that shit tacky.

I must be getting REALLY old (I'm almost 61, so that may account for it?), and losing even MORE eyesight than I ever realized, as I cannot even see what you're talking about in that pic.

OK, THANKS. [thumb]

I thought he was talking about a teardrop shaped thing near the headlight on the frontal view (like the ink/scarrings that cons and gang bangers get when they murder someone), which I could not see somehow, and NOT a tear (as in a rip) about the side graphics/applique.

Ironically, something similar in design to that side graphic was on the Ford Motorsport World Rally Team's Escort Cossies/WRCs all through the '90s. [;)]
