My first build was geared towards tracking and autocross but now I'm doing a rally style build.

Interested in the Orsen Shield and what you had to do to get it on.

It's at customs right now so I don't have it yet but I'll let you all know how it fits. The pic I posted was something I found online.

I was interested in that one a few years back when I looked, but couldn't justify the price not knowing what I'd have to do to get it on. Hope it's simple. This one is attractive because of the vents and latches, which hopefully gives access to the oil filter and drain.

did you omit the Vibra-Technics side mounts from the mod list or did you remove them from the car?
Edit - just saw them :)

Will this shield fit with under car bracing? 2-point...4point and 6 point brace from any of the vendors? And not to mention certain charge pipes? The speculation game begins....

A strong but flexible plastic material according to some of the YouTube videos I've seen.

Mountune chassis brace is minimally invasive like a small unit āš”ļø

Couple questions about the SS-Tuning steering wheel since that’s on my next to buy. What’s the cost for your particular specs? How long was production and shipping?

Great! I just added single port aux fuel recently so now I'm up to 300WHP. I've had my car on track a couple times this summer and the turbo performed really well. That was without aux fuel too so overall I'm very happy with it so far. I've got about 20k miles on the turbo.

If you had to pick the S280 or the VT330R again which would you choose?

I would choose the S280 for a few reasons;

1) US vendor support (Ron @Whoosh Motorsports)
2) Turbo Technics is a reputable turbocharger manufacturer
3) This turbo sets itself apart by utilizing a bespoke turbine housing (exhaust side) along with a bespoke compressor housing.
3) From what I can see, it's a very well thought out kit and should be an easy weekend install.

The only down side is that there isn't a lot of searchable information of how it performs yet but I believe Ron has one on his shop vehicle and he has some plans for it. Also Adam of TunePlus will be installing an S280 on his shop vehicle as well so there should be a good amount of real world results coming soon.

The only reason I'd go S280 vs VT is Ron. Otherwise I love the fact that the VT330R is a record holding track turbo (which is what I want).

Speaking of Adam, do you like your tune?
