A blob of bubble gum on a stick would work!

I was thinking of one of those extendable magnetic screwfinders with some balled up duct tape inside out on the end.

Vinegar or rubbing alcohol will then break up the bubble gum. 😉
The tape can be fished out with an unfolded large paper clip.
The telescopic magnet can then fish out the paper clip.
