My opinion is that the Cobb will probably be the best followed by Mountune, but that's on the assumption that Cobb's intake ends up the way we assume it will. I think all the rest will fall under them somewhere. The only real way to know would be for someone to get a bunch of intakes and have a dyno-day, but that's a bit of a rarity. Over time there will hopefully be some before/after dyno data of at least individual intakes on members cars.

Without a dyno day with all the systems being tested in an "all things equal" controlled setting we will never know conclusively which one is "the best".
That said, I can tell you for sure a "sealed" type airbox that draws from a specific channeled air source will outperform any short ram type intake that simply affixes a cone filter to the end of the intake tract. A sealed airbox will be the most consistent performer in every scenario.
So the Mountune is the best way to go for performance? I like the pshhh sound as much as the next guy but performance is the number one thing I'm looking for.

Kind of a double-edged sword. Sealed intakes are generally more consistent performers. Depending on the design though, I've seen SRI's outperform them in hp/tq numbers. It's vehicle-dependent and a lot depends on design. Some vehicles literally have the best numbers when they're OEM.
Without data, there is no correct 'best' intake. Furthermore, what is 'best' for one person may not be for another. If I was given the choice of a free system that is available today, Mountune would be my choice. If I actually had to use my money, I would modify my box to emulate their setup. I just can't justify spending what they want for what it is. But that's strictly my opinion.
I have the same question, Can I run stage 2 maps with a mountune intake system, and the mountune intercooler? Cobb's website says it requires cobb parts however they don't make either of those yet so I assume the mountune stuff will work well.

...it really isn't cobb specific. As long as you HAVE those parts upgraded via Cobb or whoever you should be okay. To be 100% within cobb spec, yeah use their exact one, but the OTS stage II will work fine with Mountune stuff - as a matter of fact, this is how Cobb SoCal is currently installing their version of Stage II setups -- with Mountune parts. So there should be ZERO issues running Mountune rather than Cobb components.

No, you misunderstand...
there is no BEST. We CANNOT KNOW what BEST is without back to back dynos one vs the other.
Without this, we cannot know who the best is. We can only guess. Since Mountune is not the only sealed airbox type system, it is not automatically best.
As far as configuration relative to power output goes, yes, Cobb's Sealed-Intake or Mountune's Sealed Intake systems will ultimately be the best performers, short of going balls out with 2JR's insane COWL AIR INTAKE for race cars (don't put this on your street car).
Anyone install the cobb intake yet? I can't hear crap from that youtube video that cobb posted. Wondering if it sounds good like the injen intake, or more stock like the Mountune intake.
It wont sound like the injen one because it's a closed set up. Injen is an open set up. If you want sound injen, if want, some say, better performance go with cobb.
