Wiper blade replacement

We brought home a new FiST this week and noticed the rubber on one blade was broken so it wasn't wiping all the water off the windshield properly. We bought a 24" Bosch blade to replace it but it doesn't seem to work. Looks like there is an adapter the current wiper blade has on it that doesn't fit the Bosch.

Is there a certain wiper blade you have to use? Is it only Motorcraft that you can use on it?

That should still be covered under warranty.

They replace wiper blades under warranty? I thought that would just be a wear and tear type of deal.

Some wear items can be covered if the parts are defective or under 6 months. Having rubber fall off the blade of a brand new car would probably fall under that category.

Ok just saw it says first 6 months in service...so should be able to get them. Going forward though, do they have to be Motorcraft or will other brands work?

Trico, AC Delco and Rainx all carry wipers for our cars. If you can't find them under Fiesta ST just look under Ford Fiesta.
