As the title suggests the front wipers don't return to their rest (or park) position if the ignition is turned off mid wiper sweep.

I don't suppose you can resolve my one remaining issue πŸ˜… - wrench light comes on with 'Engine service now' message, reduced power. Usually during cruising. Disappears by cycling the ignition and then returns.

Come on, you're on a roll πŸ˜‰

Have not experienced that issue yet, but I bet someone on here can answer it.

The wrench light on a Ford Fiesta, accompanied by "service engine now" message, indicates a powertrain fault and requires immediate professional inspection. Common causes include issues with the throttle control, transmission, or axles.

What the lights mean

  • Wrench light: This light signifies a problem with the vehicle's powertrain, which includes the engine, transmission, and drivetrain components like the axles.
  • "Service engine now" message: This is a critical alert telling you that a problem has been detected and you should stop driving to get the vehicle serviced immediately.
  • Powertrain fault: The combination of these indicators means the vehicle has entered "limp home mode," which limits engine power to prevent further damage, and you should seek immediate service
