Wrench light turned on...problem

Well i was headed to work and i speed up to pass a car and car loses all power so i pull off and car shuts off. Oil light comes on. So i wait look around for smoke or oil and nothing. I crank it up and its driving like normal but afraid to step on it hard or moderate. What could this be? Any ideas?

I hope you have checked the oil level??

Yea oil is fine and no leaks. Got off work and it rode fine it might just be bad gas. Doing spark plug change today.
