Yellow wrench / Check engine

Hello all, this morning when I started my car the check engine light came on. I have no engine mods, all fluids are normal and no funny sounds. 2016 with 6.5K on the odometer. Any ideas?

Best bet is to get the code and go from there. Your local autozone or checkers can do it for you. The car is under warranty so I'd be calling them up as well.

Update:
I got my hands on a code scanner. There's nothing wrong. The yellow wrench is just a dealer-triggered "time for an oil change" notice that was apparently input at my last service. I have not owned a car with a wrench/service light and a separate check engine light, so, lesson learned.

Good to hear! I was going to mention that, that why i asked about the mileage (which i must have overlooked in your post lol). But STAZ's response was better in that a code reader will tell all. I turned the reminder off in the settings on the MFT so it hasnt popped up once.

Oh that's good to know Bretley - I wasn't aware you could turn off the reminder. I'll try doing that. Thank you both for the tips and suggestions!
