I would never do that over airbags. Major safety issue if they deploy and flock material gets into your eyes. With the force that a airbag deploys that stuff is going to go everywhere. I helped a friend flock the dash on his LS3 swapped 240 drift car, it completely get rid of any glare off the dash.
