Has anyone been able to figure out how to program the car so when you hold down the unlock button for 3 seconds it puts all the windows down? I live in AZ and it was 111 yesterday. Since the car can't have remote start I need a little help here. I know other ford cars are able to do it. Let me know what y'all know or where I should look. Thanks

Some of us have gone round and round with Ford about this.
Global Window is NOT available on the Fiesta (all models).

Also Ford will not install remote start with a manual transmission.
I am sure there is an aftermarket unit that will work.

Can't have remote start on the Fiesta ST because of the intelligent fob.

Global Opening is available starting on the 2015 models.

My dealership offered to install remote start for $400 when i bought the car.
It is possible. it may not be recommended, but it is indeed possible and was an aftermarket option from multiple ford dealerships in my area. Ford even told me that if i went aftermarket, all my warranties could be voided, but if they did it themselves, i would be covered.

my gf has a new kia sportage with an intelligent fob and it has remote start on it.

So I just bought a 2015 FiST if I understand you correctly it is possible? Any thoughts on how to make this happen?

Every company is different. I just checked again earlier this year and have been told that there isn't any factory modules available for the FiST. The problem with our cars going aftermarket is that the car won't start without the Fob and if you hide the Fob in the car you can't lock the doors.

well the dealer i bought it from and also the largest dealer in my state both said they could/would do it. They said they had ways to be able to start the car without hiding the fob sensor in the car, so your locks would still work like normal. Just had to have the car locked before you tried to remote start it.

GLOBAL OPENING AND CLOSING (IF EQUIPPED) You can also operate the power windows with the ignition off using the global opening and global closing function.

Note:Global opening will only operate for a short period of time after you have unlocked your vehicle using the remote control.

Note:Global closing will only operate if you have set the memory correctly for each window. See Power Windows (page 72).

Global Opening
E71955 To open all the windows: 1. Press and release the remote control unlock button. 2. Press and hold the remote control unlock button for at least three seconds. Press the lock or unlock button to stop the opening function.

I have a 2015, just tried it on mine and it did not work. I checked the vehicle summary on the FordETIS and is states "Less Global/Auto Closing" YMMV

I had remote start added to my Mk3 Focus despite having the intelligent fob. It's definitely possible.

Hopefully FordIVTteam can answer these questions for us. I had also thought the Global Window was a 2015 feature that we never received on the '14.

Well fellas my car was hit today at the gym so its now in the shop. It really hurts my heart as I've owned the car for 5 days and put 640 miles on it. It will need a new passenger door as this guy really hit it hard. I will keep an eye on this post as I would love my car to have global windows once I get it back from the dealership.
