Hi all. Last week I purchased my new to me Fiesta ST. 2015 tuxedo black, with 8400 miles. Already love the car to death. I've had my fair share of car builds, so I'm really looking forward to seeing where I can go with this one. The last few years I've spent in the Volvo world. After building the stock 2.3 with a holset and microsquirt management, I'm currently in the middle of a long term 2jz build with my 1990 Volvo 740.

So far my plans for the Fiesta include just a catback, RMM, drop in filter and possibly a Cobb stage 1. I'm a bit gunshy on the Cobb tune as I've never owned a vehicle still under warranty. I'm sure I'll get over that, though. [biggrin]

Welcome! RVA owner here, my wife's family lives in King George though, so you will most likely see my FiST up around your way at some point haha.

I'm not very far from King George actually. I'll wave at every FiST I see in case it's you.[wave]

Congrats! As a recently new owner and member here I can say that this forum is awesome so you'll get a lot of good how-to's, and so forth. Regarding the Cobb Stage 1 under warranty, I installed on mine last weekend with all of 200 miles on the clock! I don't see any reason not to do it, but everyone has their own risk/reward ratio. I feel like in the case of the stage 1, the risk is super low and the reward is pretty high, so that made it easy for me. Either way, it's a super fun car to own and drive!

I'm going to order an AP, It's just a matter of time. I like to pretend I don't have to mod every car I own, but I'm just lying to myself.

I'm a solid maybe on that. If the weather holds out, I've got a group mountain bike ride planned. I can shoot you a message come Saturday and let you know for sure, though.

Cool! BTW Once you get the AP you quickly get to stage 3. I planned on staying stage 1 but made the jump after 2-3 months haha.

Welcome to the forum and to FiST ownership. I was just down in Fredricksburg over July 4 weekend. It's a nice town and I would have liked to have had more time. I may be back down that way for a track night later this summer if Dominion Raceway and SCCA can get on the same page. Have you been out there by chance?

It is a cool town. A little tricky to find all the neat shops downtown, but once you get your bearings there's a lot of neat stuff down here.

As for Dominion raceway, I haven't made it down there yet. I used to spend a lot of time at the old location in manassas, when it was Old Dominion Raceway. Just an 1/8th mile and oval track then. Most of the SCCA stuff I've been to (never raced, just watching a friend with his Volvo 242) has been at Fedex field. I need to go to the new track seeing as it's only one exit down 95 from the house.
