Hello Everyone,

I purchaed my 2014 FiST in Molten Orange a few weeks ago and have finally gotten around to joining the forum! Love the car, and even have gotten some ST waves already! [wave] Hopefully there are more FiST owners around the central NJ area that do some autoX. I'd love to try and get into it!

thought I'd post a few pics of the new ride, first thing to go are those heavy stock wheels....

Congrats and Welcome!
thanks for the warm welcome!

boostbumps, took a look at the build, man am i jealous! haha

I did want to ask about your wheel choice if possible. I was also thinking about going with the 17in sparco assetto garas. how do you like them? they look great on the red, hopefully on the orange too. they are a few pounds lighter than stock, any differences in cornering that you've noticed?

Welcome!

I am not too far from you, and there are a bunch of shore/central Jersey members on here, as well as eastern Pa./Philly people.

thanks... its been a fun adventure modding over the past few years...

And I'm still very pleased with my Assetto Garas a few years later...I think they're roughly 4lbs lighter than stock but honestly haven't noticed any difference with cornering...Appearance wise they are still my favorite choice...

Have fun with your new FiST !!

Thanks. Ford customer service said it was supposed to hit the dealer's driveway TODAY, but it did not, and now the dealer's sales manager is saying the 22nd (do they get deliveries on a Saturday??).

At this point, I don't know WHO to believe, as everyone claims that the cars cannot be tracked/pinpointed once in transit, but over 6 weeks to get from Cuautitlan to Doylestown, Pa.??!! PATHETIC!!!!!!!!! (I could have dragged the car behind me with a rope from Mexico and got here before now!! [mad])

But thanks for asking, and needless to say this will be the LAST car I ever order from Ford. ;)

you never know, taking that much time they actually may be dragging it here with a rope!

that sounds like a hassle. hopefully you can pick it up soon and start breaking it in. I bought mine cert. pre owned; never had a 'brand new' car before!
