Mountune will ship out the stuff they are just very old school about it. A lot of you don’t realize this but it used to be you ordered stuff on the net and a few weeks later you would get it. You all have been spoiled by Amazon and the likes with their same day and next day shipping and Prime 2 day gurantee delivery.
In the automotive world most of us strive to be that way but sometimes run into back orders and Mountune definitely falls into that category.
My FB3 package came in 3 seperate shipments due backorders. I did get everything and you will get your hose just relax. Calling them every single day may not make it ship any faster.

Ultimately it not even really the time issue that upsets me as much as the non communication. If it's gonna be a bit and I'm let know something is on backstock, I understand that I'll have to wait.

But being told something is in stock and will be sent out asap and then back to hearing nothing again sucks.

I'll give em the benefit of the doubt since it's summer and probably busy, but I think in the digital age we live in a quick email saying they're behind/may take longer than expected shouldn't be too hard.

Honestly they are not exceptional in the communication department. i got my stuff with no notice when I got it.

In that case only time will tell, guess no need to try and keep badgering em.

On another note how long was your stuff on backorder for? I'm holding out and hoping either the turbo back or catback exhaust will be in stock soon but they've been out of stock for a while.

My intake arrived pretty quickly as did my AP my intercooler took longer it was about a month or so . Now my intake hose came in 2-3 days of ordering it but when I was at the Meet and talked to them in person they were waiting on a shipment of hoses. I ordered the following week so the order must have come in. They use a very reputable Silicone Hose manufacturer by the way. Company has been around a long time.

That's good to hear at least. Here's hoping the next one doesn't split. Excited to finally upgrade to the St200 inbox and related parts soon(except the VT big mouth but that'll come later)

I forgot that I did take a photo of the intake when it was stock with the 2 connections that have to be made into 1 with the new evap hose harness . Spork I've had the same thing happen to me with certain businesses with no contact for a few days , so I would give them a few more days maybe till Monday and then call again .

LOL mine has duct tape in that exact same spot. I thought the previous owner did some cheap maintenence but looks like it may come from the factory like that.

Good news is it arrived out of the blue like @Dpro said. Noticed the adapter was on tighter this time which I think could have possibly been an issue last time. I noticed a lot less flex needed to get the new hose in and a lot less overall movement as this time the adapter seemed snug, whereas last time it moved up and down quite a bit even while installed.

Pics below in case you need to see what I mean regarding the adapter. For anyone ordering the 2016 kit I'd recommend making sure it's installed correctly in case that did contribute to the rips. 20190611_193039.jpg 20190603_155121.jpg

When I called it sounded like blue was the only color left. I originally wanted black to match my car but I would've rather had it sooner than wait for the backstock.

Hopefully doesn't take too much longer for you.

I ordered a black intake on May 2nd and have not received a thing. May 13th I sent a quick email just seeing if everything was OK as I never received a shipment notice. 2 days later I get a response that they are out of black and can send blue or yellow right away. (Thanks for telling me) I told them it was ok I could wait for the black.....dum de dum dum...June 11th I emailed again looking for anything....2 days later "we expect our shipment in the next 2 weeks and will fulfill your order then".....dum de dum dum....July 13th "10 weeks later: still nothing! I sent a request for a refund or anything and have still heard nothing. I think I have been pretty patient but I have ordered an entire car that took less time than this. Sorry to offend any of you guys here but in my opinion their customer service SUX!! This day and age it takes minutes to send a status email, there is 0 excuse for it. If you are that busy then you really need to figure it out because it is your job! If I never emailed them in the first place I truly believe they would never have told me anything. The biggest kicker is that I can go on thier website right now and purchase a black intake and pay for it and never even know they don't even have them in stock with apparently no idea when they will be in.

Have you tried calling them during business hours pacific time? I do not think anyone here is offended. If I was in your shoes though I would have picked up the phone and made the call!

I would've been in your shoes but I just accepted whatever color they had in the end. I really wanted black to match my FiST but in the end didn't want to wait as I've heard their stuff can be in backstock for a while.

Even the mountune catback that says in stock soon(I was shopping for catback months before purchasing and they never got it in stock, ended up buying through eBay as I wanted their catback specifically.)

After my experience I'm not too surprised but I will admit once you call em they get things done, but don't expect an update even then. With my warranty replacement I called and they said it would ship next day, then a blue hose appeared the following week with no sign of tracking or being shipped.

Your guys are absolutely right, I was trying to be patient and in the end just got myself aggravated....If I don't get a response tomorrow I'll try calling. I thought about it and almost took a blue one but the truth is I really want the black, I just want a little more stealth you know, something that doesn't pop right out at you when you open the hood. Don't get me wrong, the colors look real cool, just not.....me I guess. For the record I hope it works out because I really want this damn thing!!(y)

Hope you do get the black one I agree it looks awesome. I am loving the function of the blue one I got so far and am really happy with it. Especially the fact that no evap harness changes were needed.

Well so far no such luck with Mountune customer service. Haven't had a single response to either of my emails and every time I call just seems like false promises.

First time they told me I'd get an email response by the end of the day. I felt I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and waited to the end of the day, nothing.

I call again the following day, explain what happened before. They say a replacement with a shipping label to return the old one will be shipped either by the end of the day, if not by the next day. I understood again as I called around 3:00 PM so the business day was almost over. No notification of anything by the end of today and still no reply at all to my original inquiry email.

Maybe I've been spoiled by other vendors but it just stinks to feel like such a reputable brand is dropping the ball on customer service, especially since the Mountune stuff isn't cheap compared to others as we all know.

Guess I'll try one last call tommorow and hope I can actually get a tracking number or some confirmation of shipment, otherwise guess I'll have to go with the gorilla glue method.

Love the product from the short time I had it on but the experience so far just trying to get an exchange has kind of left a sour taste in my mouth.
Comment on their twitter politely (but publicly) asking how to get a response from customer service. It’s sad, but thats frequently the only way I get “big” vendors to respond in a timely manner.
