I think someone had a problem on here. Can’t say when or where but it’s simple physics 🦆
The Bigmouth is unnecessary. Either intake I spoke of delivers enough oxygen without the potential problem of jamming rain into your intake. Forced induction engines have no problem delivering air to the engine.

In all honesty I like it for the aesthetics didn’t really want it for performance because I’m at the point where I’m gonna be for a while.

Ram Air intakes were a novelty for big hp V8’s back in the day. They helped a bit. Turbos are by their nature forcing air into the engine
They are essentially a giant Vacuum on steroids!

Hence the term forced induction, and you could say they only force air in while in boost vs vacuum where they operate like any other na vehicle.

Yes. Without the turbo an engine sucks in air and spits exhaust

Ford went with the mountune intake for their rally cars.
Makes sense. You can't drown it unless water enters both the front and bottom intakes.
The porous hose is why.

No we’ll be here when you get a real turbo [emoji3]
I went built motor and gtx3076 on my speed3 within 9 months of owning so I’m looking to stretch the stock turbo and block for a little longer lol but believe me it’s crosses my mind daily.
