I beg to Differ.... A Mustang Dyno can simulate load on the car to help map the ECU properly! Ask me how I know...I watched my car get it done! [party]

Lol, says the guy who wouldn’t even post up his final dynograph. When are you going to share that with the group?

A mustang dyno still isn't replicating Street load and can't be adjusted to the weight of each specific car. Hence why most tuners till street tune after they dial it in on a dyno.

I just ordered one of these suckers. I will be testing On both 93 octane and E50, with single port aux.
Sweet, it's an awesome little kit and I also came from a hybrid with a single port. Spool is identical and I'm roughly making the same on 93 as I was on e30, a little less then on aux/e50

Didn't you come from a 2860? How's it feel in comparison.

I did, yeah. So keep in mind my most recent driving with the 2860 was on 93 octane with aux fuel. The s280 feels faster and way more brutal until 5500RPM. The 2860 felt faster above 5500RPM and really pulled in 4th and 5th gears while the S280 still feels kind of sluggish in upper-4th and 5th gears. Obviously this is completely understandable given that I am not even on aux fuel yet for the S280.

The S280 feels better overall, I didn't realize how much I missed the low end torque.

Yeah I waited off buying another turbo till something came out with killer spool and good top end. I think the s280 shines there and I didn't feel like dealing with atp garbage. Feels just like my hybrid did on e30.

Yeah I could not be more impressed with the spool. Just hoping that it keeps pulling up top as I get more fuel in there.. time will tell.

I returned it due to a coolant leak from a freeze plug in the center section. I spent money trying to remedy the issue myself, and in the end returned it with frustration for a full refund.
Any idea if they fixed the issues? Francesca seems to be running hers with no problems.

I'm surprised the machining on her turbo looked janky especially the surface on the bov flange. We will see once she gets tuning with ethanol.

She is down on HP as far as I have seen for what the Turbo is supposed to do. I am not impressed at all. She is putting out less with pump gas than another member here is doing with a Whoosh Hybrid that is tuned by Ant Tune. To me that is not good. The S280 numbers you guys are showing here look much better.

Nice to hear, where is all this information people are quoting? I can't find it here or on FB. From looking at Pumaspeed's website - X57 makes 320WHP/300WTQ and is fully spooled at like 2900RPM which is crazy. The X57RS is rated up to 370WHP which is in line with the S280.

Edit: I haven't seen a single US-based dyno or vdyno except for Jason..

IIRC Pumaspeed quoted the X57RS at 400+whp capable, but required a forged engine. The info we had is / was on FB in Fiesta Mafia but I suppose if it didn't look good enough it could have been removed.

When she got her turbo she was "mistakenly" sent an X57RS, and then it just looked like it was secondhand already. Chewed up surfaces, janky looking in general. The tuner never really posted good info either.
