Has anyone tried the Liquid Chill, does it work, what temps were observed using it?

I've tried a couple of the small bottles of it, bought back when it was sold on the counter of the Pep Boyz 'Speed Shop' sections.

It did not seem to do as much as the Kool-It additive, or the Royal Purple 'Purple Ice' additives did, given the same mixtures/concentrations (for me at least).

Does it smell of coolant when you open the hood? I would pay attention to that and monitor the coolant level. If it's slowly dropping, you have a leak. When you have a leak your coolant system is not pressurized properly and does not function optimally. This is the most common type of cooling problem.

Sorry for the break in updates, just kept driving the car and finally took it to the dealer today. The first pic shows what the tech said about it (didn’t know I had an upgraded intercooler, don’t think it’s a good one as it’s usually 10-25 degrees warmer than ambient). The second shows what they recommend doing right now, can’t really afford all that and their prices seem pretty steep.. any thoughts?

I don't know what they consider a "fuel induction service" at all.

But for those other two, they are getting close to, or over $100.00 more than the stealerships around here, and I live in a 'richy rich'/high zoot and snooty area (the county is named BUCKS County after all! LOL).

I guess anywhere even near the beltway outdoes even here in prices?!?

I guess the fuel induction service was something with “getting the carbon buildups out of the system”. However about 6 months ago they replaced the high pressure fuel pump and pressure sensor and didn’t recommend this service, so I’m pretty sure it’s fine.

This “stealership” is in Alexandria, VA and my service tech that was legit recently quit.. that makes sense that the prices are higher, I’m going to try to find places closer to Woodbridge that would be cheaper. Or maybe I can hold off, I do plan to upgrade the radiator at some point over the winter and then I can just flush the system at that time

IF they actually remove the intake manifold/plenum and shell blast the valves, that is really DIRT CHEAP, but somehow, I highly doubt that's what their service involves.

My16 was overheating and it never did in the past. I ended up getting the Mishimoto radiator and when my mechanic was installing it he said the issue was that the expansion tanks hose was bad and the tank had ballooned. That piece was only a couple hundred dollars to replace. There's a chance your car has the same issue. I ended up moving forward with the radiator install since I live in AZ so I could use the upgrade. Check the expansion tank.
