Howdy, group. I've recently picked up a stock '14 ST2 with a good amount of miles but for a good price. It has a short laundry list of fix-it items, like many would at 146k miles. (Blend door actuators, water pump, solving some rattles.) I really haven't been that into the FWD world; I've had a few old RWD V8s, and a Mazdaspeed6 many moons ago. I'm looking forward to some good times with this little guy now.

Welcome! Former speed6 owner as well. Fiesta is way more fun, unless there’s snow on the ground

Awesome! Thanks! 🖐🏻☝🏻
And WHAT a snow car that was! I owned mine when I was in NH and put a set of Blizzaks on it for the winter. That car was glued to the road no matter the weather.

It's a shame they did not build an AWD Speed 3 as an updated and more powerful 323GTX. [:(]

I would have bought one if they did.

Indeed! I was lucky enough to test drive a 323 GTX a guy once had for sale. What a fun little car!

Welcome fellow Nashvillian! I have unfortunately sold off my little fiesta, but I am still a fan of the little car. Let me know if you need any help with those blend door actuators. They’re a blast… I recommend the French model version be used to replace all of them. That does take a little modification to do however. But that one should outlast the two Chinese ones already in the car.

Oui! I certaibly have these to do. The one on the driver side is worst. I can hear the other faintly. I was about to get a pair of Dorman replacements from Amazon. Do you have links to your preferences?

Now here’s the thing, and do your own research so you aren’t trusting some random dude on the internet, but the YH1935 model is the better of the three. There’s a post out there somewhere that explains how to get the YH1935 to fit where the other two are. Iirc it’s just a little plastic tab that needs removed that’s there just to keep you from installing it in the wrong spot (like replacing the Chinese model). It’s not so much where it’s made but the design is more robust internally.
