Hood Vents?

I know this is old but I was doing some wishlist mod shopping and vents are up there...

I think with a simple 3d printer it would be easy to create a sliding shutter that could be mounted to the bottom of the louver. A simple opening of the hood and sliding the shutters on either vent. You could probably modify the vent to allow sliding from the top but it would run the aesthetics 🤔🤔
Yeah, I know some companies make a "plug" for them for when it rains but I don't know who makes WRC vents anymore, at least not the ones that have had any real research done on high and low pressure zones. If someone made a WRC (or similar) vent that actually worked in the way described AND had a "rain guard" of some sort, creating a convenient way to attach them would likely not be too difficult. I say this as someone with like 30 minutes of 3D printing experience total, though.

The only ones I've found recently in stock are these, which are in the proper wrc placement
