Picked up a cheap NC MX5 recently, it's a 2007 sport so has the 2.0l and the LSD. I've been having such a blast driving it that I've been neglecting the Fiesta a little! 160hp is just the right amount to go flat out everywhere without getting into trouble, and it so perfectly suits the winding UK country roads. It's a bit rough cosmetically but solid underneath, but for £1,000 I can't complain! I'm going to try and keep it as close to standard as I can as it hits the sweet spot between the daily Audi (in the background) and the Fiesta which is pretty much underivable on the road.

In Fiesta news I bought a plastic undertray for £30 on eBay and expected it to not fit the ST. However the subframe and the bumper had all the holes and clip locations for it and everything lined up. I assume they are supposed to attach using plastic clips, but I don't think Ford intended for it to endure 140+mph so I used rivnuts and bolted it in with some big washers. I haven't been under the car in a few months and she's looking a little crispier than I remember. 11 years of rain and salt is starting to take its toll.

I've also been seeing some drops of coolant on the cold side boost pipe and think it's this. I forgot I reused the clip when swapping the coolant hoses over so replaced it with a jubilee clip.

Next track day is not until March, with another Ring trip being planned in April or May.
